According to reports on Wednesday morning, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be considering a move for Blackburn Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen, who has been linked with Arsenal from some time.

The Daily Mail suggests that Rovers’ Norwegian left-sided midfielder will cost over £11m though manager Mark Hughes is determined to keep hold of the 25-year-old, who had arrived at Ewood Park in 2004.

The paper also reports that Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez is in for Rovers striker Jason Roberts with a bid of £4million.

The 29-year-old Grenada international has fallen down the pecking order this season with the arrival of Roque Santa Cruz.
