Liverpool’s Harry Kewell has reportedly suffered another injury blow and at a crucial time with the season heading for an end and time running out for the winger to make a case for a new contract.

The 29-year-old missed out on playing for Australia in the World Cup qualifier against China apparently with a tight groin as coach Pim Verbeek was unsure of Kewell’s fitness.

The former Leeds player, who has been troubled by injury problems since last couple of years, is out of contract at the end of the season.
