Liverpool Midfielder Benayoun Wants Anfield Stay – Israel International Linked With Tottenham, Portsmouth And Ajax
Regardless of whether Liverpool decides to sell him or not, midfielder Yossi Benayoun desires to stay at the club and battle for his place in the squad.
The 28-year old midfielder, who joined the Reds last summer from West Ham for a fee of £5million, has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth and Dutch side Ajax.
"He is a good player so it is only normal that these clubs would be interested in signing him," his agent, Ronen Katsav, told BBC Sport.
"But Yossi is very happy at Liverpool, everything is perfect for him there."
He added: "He sees his future at Liverpool. Even if the club wanted to sell him, then Yossi would say he would like to stay."
