Birmingham City goalkeeper Maik Taylor has revealed that he has no idea about any interest from Liverpool.

The Reds are apparently looking for a back-up goalkeeper to Jose Reina as boss Rafa Benitez is reportedly unimpressed by Charles Itandje.

And with Taylor becoming a free agent at the end of the season, various clubs are said to be watching the 36-year-old Northern Ireland international, who is however focused on the final game of the season as the relegation-threatened Blues take on Blackburn.

"I don't know anything about it [Liverpool] but obviously I'm out of contract and would like my future sorted," Taylor told the Birmingham Mail.

"But we have a big game on Sunday and that is the only thing on my mind right now."
