Liverpool, Aston Villa Premiership Transfer News
Liverpool keeper Scott Carson feels that the £10million price-tag placed on him is unfair as he thinks that it may be too much to be demanding.
The 22-year-old keeper has spent the 2007/08 season on-loan at Aston Villa, but the Villans manager Martin O'Neill is hoping to make him a permanent signing at Villa Park.
"It's too much, it is stupid money really. You pay £10m for a goalkeeper who is 27 or 28 and the finished article," said Carson.
"I don't think Liverpool are stupid. They know what I'm worth. They would have recouped what they paid for me in loan fees over the last couple of years.
"So hopefully, they can help me out and if there is a sniff of going somewhere, then hopefully they will respect my wishes and help me that way."
