Liverpool defender Fabio Aurelio has been injured in the Champions League semi-finals first-leg at Anfield against Chelsea on Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old Brazilian was stretchered off the pitch in the 62nd minute of the match, with Liverpool leading their Premiership rivals 1-0 with a goal from Dirk Kuyt. He was replaced by John Arne Riise.
Latest news from the Liverpool medical staff is that the injury is not as serious as first thought and that they expect Aurelio to feature for Liverpool again before the end of the season.
