Lawrenson: Villa To Win And Not Sure If Baggies Will Stay Up
Football pundit Mark Lawrenson has predicted a 2-1 away win for Aston Villa against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Sunday.
Former Liverpool defender Lawrenson also claimed that despite the Baggies scoring three goals and securing their first win against West Ham United last week. Lawrenson was still unsure if Tony Mowbray’s side would avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Lawrenson told the BBC website that he expects the Villans to win 2-1 and then added.
“It's a Midlands derby, Aston Villa have been strong recently and West Brom had a good home win last week, but I'm going for a Villa win this time.
“I'm delighted the Baggies got three goals last week because I was worried about where their goals would come from. I'm still not sure they'll stay up, scoring will remain a problem for them.'
“Villa are so good away from home because they have got so much pace in the team and on the bench too.”
