Larsson Ignores Everton, Tottenham & West Ham United Talk, But Agent Doesn’t Rule Out Premiership Return
Veteran Swedish striker Henrik Larsson has said he does not want to leave Helsingborgs, but his agent is not ruling out the former Celtic star’s return to the Premiership where the likes of Everton, Tottenham and West Ham United are reported to be interested.
The 36-year-old had a short-term loan stint at Manchester United in the 2006-2007 season, scoring three goals. He however, opted to return to his homeland on the completion of the stint ignoring the possible talks over an extension at Old Trafford.
The former Barcelona man is not keen to play once more in England where he has been reported to be a target for several clubs.
“I will not go anywhere,” Larsson told Helsingborgs Dabgblad. “It has never been my intention.”
However, not ruling out the possibility of Larsson playing again in the Premiership is his agent Rob Jansen, who said: “He feels that he can still do a good job in The Premier League.”
