Jimenez Leaves Newcastle United, Who's The Next To Depart St James' Park?
Newcastle United have announced that Tony Jimenez has left the club from his position of Vice-President (Player Recruitment).
The Magpies have been surrounded by turmoil since Kevin Keegan left the Tyneside outfit soon after the close of summer transfer window, over differences with the club hierarchy on transfer matters.
The Toon fans had particularly directed their ire against club owner Mike Ashley and the structure he had in place which included Jimenez and director of football, Dennis Wise, that had more say in transfer matters leading to Keegan quitting the job. The club is up for sale and changes are expected with new owners to come.
In the meanwhile, Jimenez, who was appointed Vice-President in January, has left the St James’ Park outfit and club said on their website that he had made the decision in order to pursue other interests.
