Ipswich Town Linked With Tottenham’s Bent, Chelsea’s Sinclair & Fulham’s Stefanovic
Ipswich Town have reportedly moved for a loan deal for Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent, who is yet to establish himself as a regular at White Hart Lane.
Bent, who played for Town before moving to Charlton Athletic, had joined Spurs in the summer in a club record deal, but has not been able to dislodge the formidable partnership of Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane at the north London club.
According to the Evening Star, Blues boss Jim Magilton is looking to sign high calibre players to help them push for the Premiership promotion and along with England international Bent, Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair and Fulham defender Dejan Stefanovic are also said to be the targets.
Magilton is quoted as saying: “We are still after a couple of loan signings. We are working non-stop to get people in to give us a slight edge.”
