Arsenal Premiership Transfer News
Reports in Italy have claimed that Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has identified Arsenal forward Robin van Persie as one of his summer targets.
The 24-year-old Dutch international has suffered injury problems over the last two seasons, but has shown tremendous potential when in full fitness. Nevertheless, the former Feyenoord man has become an integral part of Arsene Wenger’s side after joining the Gunners in 2004.
However, Corriere dello Sport claims that Van Persie wants to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer and that Mourinho is looking to cash-in on the player’s reported unhappiness by offering an escape route out of England.
