Premier League debutantes Hull City have completed the signing of Striker Daniel Cousin from ‘Old Firm’ club Glasgow Rangers.
The 31-year-old Gabon International has been locked in talks all day at the KC Stadium with Tigers boss Phil Brown. After being given permission to talk to the Yorkshire club by Gers manager Walter Smith.
Cousin will leave Ibrox to join Hull on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, with the transfer going through with just over an hour before the window is due to slam shut until January.
