Hull City Missed Out On Fabrice Pancrate As PSG ‘Changed Their Mind’
Premiership new-entrants Hull City have missed out on Fabrice Pancrate as Paris Saint Germain ‘changed their mind’ and retained the forward, it has now been confirmed by the player himself.
The 28-year-old has disclosed that he had become disillusioned having played on loan for Real Betis and Sochaux leading up to this season and had entered talks with a view to moving to England this summer. But the Frenchman finally got his worth, and is happy to stay at Parc des Princes.
“I had a chat with [head coach] Paul Le Guen as soon as I returned to training,” Pancrate told Le Parisien.
“I understood at this moment they didn’t rely on me. Anyway I decided to prepare me the best I could and I gave my best.
“And while I was speaking with an English club – Hull City – I was finally told that PSG wanted me to stay.
“They changed their mind and I’m delighted that my work was recognised.”
