Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has promised newly-promoted Hull City first option on taking 20-year-old striker Fraizer Campbell on loan again next season at the KC Stadium.

Campbell spent last season on loan at the Tigers, scoring 15 goals in 34 appearances, as Hull were promoted to the Premier League for the first time.

Hull manager Phil Brown had wanted to make the England Under-21 International a permanent signing, having a £4million offer for the young forward turned down by United, and will now have to settle for another loan deal.
