Hull City, Manchester City Premiership Transfer News
Hull City are in the hunt for the services of Brazilian attacker Geovanni, who has been released by Manchester City.
The Tigers, who are promoted to the Premiership, are looking to add quality to their squad and were in speculative linkup with Geovanni, but the pursuit has now been confirmed by their chairman Paul Duffen.
Geovanni had joined City under Sven Goran Eriksson last summer on a one-year contract, which is over and new boss Mark Hughes included him in the group of 10 players released.
Duffen told The Hull Daily Mail: “There’s interest in the player, but that’s all we’re prepared to say at this stage.”
