Fulham v West Ham Match Preview - Hodgson’s Side Look To Continue Home Run As Zola’s Hammers Eye Away Win

West Ham United, Fulham Premiership Match Previews

West-London outfit Fulham will entertain their Eastern rivals West Ham United in the London derby at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

The Cottagers have got off to a good start in the Premiership with two home wins so far seeing the downfall of Arsenal and Bolton Wanderers. Roy Hodgson’s side have six points from four games so far and would hope to pull off another positive result at home tomorrow.

On the other hand, Gianfranco Zola’s Hammers have nine points from five games, but have lost both their away games. As such, an exciting duel is likely between the city rivals, both of whom are out of the Carling Cup after mid-week losses.

The Hammers, however, hold a psychological edge over the Cottagers, who have a poor home record to tomorrow’s opponents, but Hodgson will be looking to inspire his players to continue their good run at home.

For Fulham, Leon Andreasen and Dickson Etuhu have been back in training following injury problems.

West Ham, however, have injury and fitness problems to Danny Gabbidon (groin), Jonathan Spector (thigh), Kieron Dyer (leg); while Craig Bellamy, Carlton Cole and Dean Ashton are doubtful. Young striker Freddie Sears could feature.
