Fulham have remained in the Premier League next season after beating Portsmouth 1-0 at Fratton Park on the last day of the 2007/08 season.
Danny Murphy headed home possibly the most valuable goal of his career, in the 76th minute to give Roy Hodgson's team the win and Premiership safety.
Jimmy Bullard provided the assist, curling in a free-kick straight to the unmarked Murphy, who headed past Jamie Ashdown to make it 1-0.
Despite Birmingham City thrashing Blackburn 4-1, they also are now relegated, joining Reading in the the Championship next season.
