Fulham Boss Lawrie Sanchez Hoping Brian McBride Plays Again This Season – Cottagers’ Bouazza To Be Back In 2 Weeks

Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez is hoping that striker Brian McBride will play again this season.

The 35-year-old American had his left kneecap dislocated while scoring a goal against Middlesbrough at the weekend, and is set to spend “months out of action”.

Sanchez said: "I would suggest he's out for the long-term, rather than the short-term. It will be a matter of months, probably, although hopefully not the entire season."

Another injury casualty from the same match was Algeria international attacker Hameur Bouazza, £4million signing from Watford this summer, who however is likely to be back in two weeks.
