Former Spurs Coach Segers: Berbatov 'Is A Big Sulker'
Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeping coach Hans Segers has warned Spurs that they must sell Dimitar Berbatov, with the former Wimbledon player also revealing that the Bulgarian International “is a big sulker” and is “not good for the team.”
Segers, who was at Spurs between 1998-2001 also claimed that the manager who signs Berbatov will have a hard time with the striker, but did concede that the Bulgarian was a class act as a player.
“He is one of the best strikers around, but the way he doesn't pull his weight for the team is not good for the team,” Segers said.
“He is a big sulker. He goes in silent sulks — he is quite a loner in that way.
“It is not easy to communicate with him and that is a shame because he is a very good player.
“So wherever he goes, the manager will have a tough job with him.”
