Sunderland, Stoke City Premiership Transfer News
Danny Higginbotham has moved from Sunderland to Stoke City on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
29-year-old Higginbotham started his career with Manchester United and spent a year with The Potters, prior to a one-year stint at Sunderland, but now the centre-back, who scored 7 goals in 45 appearances for Stoke City, is making a return to The Brittania Stadium.
Higginbotham, speaking to Sky Sports news, said: “I’m delighted to be back, it only seems like yesterday that I was last here.
“They [Stoke City] have gone from strength to strength and got promoted and it’s great for a club of this size to be in The Premiership.”
