Former Man United Star Ruud van Nistelrooy: Ronaldo Will Join Real Madrid
Former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo will leave the Old Trafford outfit to join him at Real Madrid next summer or in the following one.
Red Devils star Ronaldo was fiercely linked with a move to the Spanish giants in the summer, but apparently United boss Sir Alex Ferguson convinced the Portuguese international winger to stay with the current Premiership and Champions League title holders.
However, Dutch international van Nistelrooy, who moved from United to Real in 2006, is sure that the 23-year-old Ronaldo will definitely join Los Merengues in year or two.
"One day Ronaldo will join us," the 32-year-old former PSV Eindhoven & SC Heerenveen striker told Marca.
"This could happen next summer, or the one after."
