Everton have completed the signing of goalkeeper Carlo Nash from Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

34-year-old Nash will arrive at Goodison park on two-year deal and will provide cover for Toffees number one Tim Howard.

Nash has enjoyed spells with Stoke, Preston, Middlesbrough and Manchester City is delighted to have made the transfer from the JJB Stadium.

“I have known of Everton's interest for the last couple of weeks and there have been a few sleepless nights hoping it would go through,’ he told the club's website.
