Everton’s Joseph Yobo Hoping To Recover From Injury For Pre Season Training
Joseph Yobo insisted that he is desperately hoping to shake off his troublesome ankle injury in time so that he can take part in Everton's pre-season training.
The Nigerian started off the last season in full swing, but in the latter part of the campaign he picked up the injury which forced him to be out for much of the time.
Despite being injured, Yobo played four matches for the Super Eagles which further aggravated it. However he is hoping that he will be able to take the field within a few weeks time.
“I was playing with an ankle injury," Yobo told Nigeria's Brila FM.
"I have had it for a while and I was supposed to rest it, but we had crucial games to play and I just had to force myself to play.
“The best thing for this kind of injury is rest. Now I have to give it the rest it needs so I can be ready for pre-season training with my club.
