Everton attacking midfielder Tim Cahill has rated the last-gasp equaliser at Chelsea on Sunday, as one of the best he has scored.

With the game seemingly headed to a 1-0 win for the Blues, the Australian international struck a sweet overhead kick to send the Toffees into celebration in the last minute of normal time.

"I am really happy to be playing and to get the goal was a bonus," Cahill told evertonTV.

"It was probably up there with my best.

"It is one of those things; when you come to a place like Chelsea you know you are going to be under the cosh but the gaffer asked me to push up in the last five minutes and then try and get on the end of something."

The 27-year-old, who made a comeback late last month from a metatarsal problem that he picked in the pre-season, added: "I'll probably get the headlines but the whole team deserves it.

"The back four were exceptional and Tim Howard is in a class of his own at the moment and he's playing at top form."
