Everton Player Injury and Suspension News
Everton manager David Moyes has confirmed the foot injury suffered by Tim Cahill and his absence for the remainder of the season.
The Australian attacking midfielder had to leave the field after just 10 minutes into last week's 1-1 draw with West Ham United. He had suffered a metatarsal problem and missed the campaign’s early stages.
Cahill injury comes as a huge blow with the Toffees battling with Merseyside rivals, Liverpool for the fourth place finish in the Premiership with seven games left.
"Tim Cahill has a broken foot," Moyes told the club's official website.
"I think it's obvious that he will be out for the rest of the season."
