Everton Boss Moyes To Stay, Waits On Funds For Summer Transfer Market
Everton manager David Moyes has revealed that he is looking to stay at Goodison beyond his current deal that expires at the end of the season.
The Scot, who has been the Toffees boss for six years now, is expecting talks on a new contract to start after the ongoing season is over.
Moyes said on the club’s official website: "There shouldn’t be any fear among supporters that I’ll be leaving. It is not in my mind and not anything I have ever considered.
“It’s up to the board when we come to any contract talks, but we have said we will wait until the end of the season and look at it.
“In an ideal scenario everything will be sorted and I will stay here."
Also revealing that there will be talks on the funds available for the summer transfer market, Moyes said: “I am interested to find out what the next stage is for Everton. That will be part of the discussion I have with people.
"We will have a better idea of things when we see where we finish the season, as that might dictate finance."
