Everton Boss David Moyes Desparate For New Faces At The Club
Everton boss David Moyes claims that he is getting a bit frustrated with the lack of new faces being brought to Goodison Park for the start of the new season.
Everton have failed to make any new additions to the club this summer, even though they have been linked constantly to many players.
While speaking after his sides 2-1 win against Colarado Rapids in a pre-season friendly match, Moyes said: "It's been a good tour of the USA but the one disappointment is that I don't have some more people here with me.
"I was hoping to have added to the squad by now and brought a few in to give the players a lift.
"It's not just a new face we need - it's new faces. My big concern is that anybody we bring in now probably won't be ready to start the Premier League season.
"It's now getting to the stage where you are wondering how long it takes for new players to settle.
"I'm hoping we'll have some in (before the start of the season). But I'm not going to turn around and say I'm totally confident because you never know what happens. But, yes, I'm hoping that we'll end up getting a few in."
