Everton Agree Deal For United's French International Saha
Everton have agreed a deal with Premiership Champions Manchester United to bring French International Louis Saha to Goodison Park for an undisclosed transfer fee, according to reports.
30-year-old striker Saha is set to sign a two-year deal with the Toffees, with an option of a third year with the Merseyside club should he pass a routine medical.
Saha joined United from Fulham in 2004 for £12.8million and has scored 42 goals in 124 appearances for the Champions League winners, but has been blighted by injuries in the last two seasons. This has led to him falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford, with the Frenchman now deciding the time is right to move on.
This will be Everton’s third signing this week following the arrival of Lars Jacobsen and Segundo Castillo on Merseyside. Which will please Goodison boss David Moyes, who had been frustrated so far in his attempts to sign players this summer.
