Drogba Commits To Chelsea
Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba seems to have finally made up his mind over his future, committing to stay on at Chelsea.
The 30-year-old looked set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer judging by his frequent hints over the course of last season since former boss Jose Mourinho left the Blues in September.
Drogba has been linked all summer with AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid, but has now stated that the west-Londoners want him to stay and if that is the case he is only happy to do so.
The former Marseille told France Football: "I have always said, I am always with Chelsea. It is a great team with great players and a great coach, and a president who has ambition.
"I do not want talk about it. I am with Chelsea. Everything goes well there.
"I still have two years left on my contract. If my employers do not want me to leave, I will be a Chelsea player. Today, they made me understand they want to see me playing again for the team."
