Curtis Davies Looking Forward To European Football At Aston Villa, Leaves West Brom Permanently

Aston Villa are to make Curtis Davies’ loan move permanent with a reported £10m transfer from West Bromwich Albion.

The 23-year-old England defender had initially joined the Villans on loan from the Baggies last summer, but is reportedly set to sign a four-year deal.

Davies is on track with his recovery from a ruptured Achilles, and looking forward to being involved in European football.

He said in the Express & Star: “I came to this club to try to fulfil my ambitions. European football is the first step this season.

“I believe players will be up for every single game they play, especially at this club.

“We have got so many young, fit players. We can crack on and give everything a go.”
