Chelsea centre-back Ricardo Carvalho is reportedly set to open talks with Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan.

The 30-year-old Portuguese international had joined the Blues from Porto following Mourinho to Stamford Bridge in 2004.

After Italian champions Inter appointed Mourinho as coach earlier in the summer, Carvalho was one of the Blues players to be linked with a move to San Siro.

According to The Mail on Sunday, Carvalho is most likely to join Mourinho at Inter Milan with talks to be opened in the next few days regarding a £15million switch.
