Chelsea have been rocked by an injury blow early in the title decider against Bolton Wanderers as skipper John Terry has been stretchered off at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The England central defender was knocked down by a knee in his face by team-mate, goalkeeper Petr Cech, who rose high to thwart Bolton’s Kevin Davies in an aerial challenge in the 9th minute.
Terry was in pain and received treatment on the field, but there was no chance of his continuing as he was left groggy and boss Avram Grant sent Juliano Belletti as the replacement.
In fact, Terry has been rated as doubtful for May 21 Champions League final against Manchester United in Moscow.
