According to reports, Barcelona are favourites to sign Chelsea forward Andriy Shevchenko while the Blues are linked with Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who also finds himself in Barca and AC Milan transfer talk.

Reports suggest that Ukrainian star Shevchenko, who has failed to get regular football at Stamford Bridge since moving to west London from AC Milan in 2006 at a club record deal, could move to the Catalan club on a likely loan move.

The Blues continue to be in the transfer talk with Daily Mirror claiming that Togo international Adebayor could be attracted to the Gunners’ London rivals as his current situation at the Emirates looks unstable after demands over wages.
