Chelsea’s Paulo Ferreira In Talks With West Ham?

Chelsea’s Paulo Ferreira is said to have shown keen interest in a possible switch to West Ham United.

The defender arrived at Stamford Bridge from Porto in 2004 for £13.2million (€16.3m). but despite signing a new five-year deal at Stamford Bridge in February is believed to be holding talks with the Hammers about a possible switch to Upton Park.

The arrival of Jose Boswinga this summer from Porto has further reduced the 29-year olds chances in the starting lineup at the Blues. So a short trip across London could appeal to the Portuguese International.

West Ham manager Alan Curbishley is keen to add a right back to his squad, with new summer signing Valon Behrami being made to play in the right back position so far this season for the Irons.
