Chelsea’s Lampard & Man United’s Rooney Train With England Squad
Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney both have taken part in training for England ahead of Wednesday’s friendly in France. Both players had emerged as injury doubts after the weekend’s Premiership games.
Lampard had a hip problem after Sunday’s 2-1 win over Arsenal, while Rooney had reportedly undergone a scan on his knee injury last night following their 3-0 win against Liverpool. Nevertheless, they had no problems taking part in this morning's session at Arsenal's training ground in London Colney.
