Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel said that he hopes rivals Manchester United will slip in both the Premiership as well as Champions League so that the Blues can end the season with both the titles.

If the Red Devils manage a win against Wigan Athletic in their final game of the season they will retain the Premiership crown no matter what the results are between Chelsea and Bolton Wanderers.

"We have a pretty good chance in the Premier League, and in the Champions League as well,” he told Sky Sports.

“We just have to keep winning our games and wait for Manchester United to slip up. In the last game hopefully, no-one knows, they may drop two points and if we win against Bolton Wanderers we win the title."
