Chelsea are facing keen competition from Real Madrid and Inter Milan with the trio making offers for the sensational teenage Internacional attacker Alexandre Pato.

The 17-year-old Brazilian playmaker is currently playing at the U-20 World Championship in Montreal, Canada, with his full array of skills on show. And although he is a self-confessed fan of Ronaldo, he is being regarded as the ‘new Kaka.’

The Blues had been keeping a close watch on Pato for some time and had reportedly inched closer to landing him late last month. However, with Real and Inter also coming in the picture, ‘Alex The Duck’ has sparked a big-money bidding war.

"Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea have already made official offers for Pato," said Pato’s agent Gilmar Veloz.

"We are analysing the deals and will sit down with Internacional. Then at the end of the year his future will be defined."
