Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea Premiership Transfer News
Chelsea have refuted Samuel Eto'o’s claim of an offer to join the Premiership outfit, saying they have not made a bid to sign the Barcelona striker, who also claims Tottenham and Serie A champions Inter Milan offers.
The 27-year-old Cameroon international is likely to leave Camp Nou this summer, but is currently in Scotland with the Spanish giants on pre-season training. He was quoted by Corriere dello Sport yesterday as saying he has received a "few important offers. Which ones? Chelsea, Tottenham and Inter."
However, the Blues have distanced themselves from the speculation as club spokesman said in the Edinburgh Evening News: "We deny making a bid or any offer for Eto'o."
