Campbell Confident Better Results Will Come For Tottenham, Says Spurs Fans Like Me

Tottenham Hotspur Premiership Player News

Fraizer Campbell has claimed he is enjoying himself in his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur though he is keen for the North London club getting better results.

Spurs have made their worst start to a season since 1912 as they are placed at the bottom of the Premiership table still to win a league game and managing just two points in seven outings.

The 21-year-old striker, who is at White Hart Lane on loan from Manchester United as part of the deal that took Dimitar Berbatov to Old Trafford, is happy with the Spurs fans giving him good support, despite Juande Ramos’ side not yet clicking together.

"I've settled in quickly here. I'm getting to know the lads and they're getting to know me. I'm enjoying myself," he is quoted as saying on skysports.com.

"Obviously results could be better but that will come. I'm just waiting for a chance to show what I can do and make the most of any opportunities that come my way.

"The fans have been good to me so far, I try to add a spark when I play and I think they like that."

On the poor form of Spurs, Campbell said: "This could have happened to us at the beginning, middle or end of the season but because it's come at the start it's been highlighted that much more since people see us at the foot of the table. I'm sure we'll turn things around very soon."
