Blackburn Sign Northampton Town Keeper Mark Bunn On Four Year Deal
Blackburn Rovers sealed a deal with Northampton Town keeper Mark Bunn for an undisclosed fee on transfer deadline day.
The 23-year old is absolutely thrilled with his decision to join the Ewood Park side on a four year contract deal.
Bunn told his new club’s official website: “I’m absolutely delighted to be here. It is a dream come true really.”
He continued: “I went into training on Friday, I got a call from my agent and then obviously the gaffer at Northampton [Stuart Gray] pulled me in and told me. I got the medical done on Sunday and today [Monday] I’ve signed. It still hasn’t really sunk in, but I’m really looking forward to meeting all the lads tomorrow.
“I knew there were a couple of teams watching me, but thankfully Blackburn have put some faith in me.
“It was hard to leave Northampton but I was not going to turn this chance down, I’m just pleased to be here.”
