Newcastle United, Fulham, Blackburn Rovers Premiership Transfer News
Australian midfielder Mark Bresciano, who came close to a move to Manchester City last summer before the deal collapsed, is reportedly a target for Blackburn Rovers, while fellow Premiership clubs Fulham and Newcastle are also said to be alerted to his availability.
The 28-year-old versatile midfielder is looking to move to England, with the Italian outfit Palermo ready to sell him and according to skysports.com, Paul Ince’s Blackburn are leading the chase.
It is thought that Ince is planning to make an official offer for the midfield target as he looks to get the intended reinforcements to Ewood Park before the commencement of the 2008-09 Premiership campaign that starts in three weeks.
