Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince has reportedly declared that Benni McCarthy is not for sale after reports had suggested that Sunderland and Galatasaray were interested in the striker.

The Lancashire Telegraph reports that Ince is determined to keep hold of the 30-year-old South African, who was off-colour last season after having enjoyed a prolific term before that, and no amount of money can prise him away from the Ewood Park.

Turkish side Galatasaray are said to have made an official approach over the availability of McCarthy, while the Black Cats boss Roy Keane is keen to sign a striker ahead of the start of the season.
