Birmingham Linked With West Ham’s Zamora

Birmingham City, West Ham Premiership Transfer News

Birmingham City are reportedly interested in West Ham United striker Bobby Zamora.

The 27-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur player has recently recovered from his knee problem and is keen to get in the first team at Upton Park, but Alan Curbishley has Carlton Cole, Dean Ashton and Luis Boa Morte ahead in the pecking order.

The Blues on the other hand, are fighting to maintain their top-flight status, and according to the Mirror, Alex McLeish will move with a £4million bid for Zamora in the summer, if they stay in the Premiership.

The Barking-born player had joined the Hammers in February 2004 from Spurs. He extended his contract at West Ham in October 2006 until 2011.
