Krystian Pearce has extended his stay at Birmingham City by putting pen to paper on a two-year contract.
The 18-year-old England U-19 defender will be at St. Andrew’s till 2010.
Blues boss Alex McLeish said on the club’s official website: "Krystian has done well enough to earn himself a new contract.
"He's been out on loan at Port Vale and Notts County, which has given him some good senior experience.
"We've got him back in and given him a new two year deal because we think he's got potential.
"He's athletic, strong and has great presence.
"Krystian's challenge now is to prove that he can be a Birmingham City first team player."
