Bayern Munich Linked With Chelsea’s Florent Malouda

Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing a suitable bid for Chelsea winger Florent Malouda during the January transfer window.

It has been suggested that the Frenchman has no place in Blues boss Luiz Felipe Scolari’s long term plans for the club and as such the manager would have no problem in allowing the 28-year-old left-winger to move on.

Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have been linked with the former Lyon star for quite some time and are reportedly ready to place an £8 million bid for him.

Scolari could be willing to let go of the player to generate funds, with Chelsea assistant first-team coach Ray Wilkins stating on Sunday that Chelsea are looking to bring a new striker to the club in the New Year.
