Barca's Henry & Eto'o Alternatives To Berbatov, Arshavin & Robinho? - Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea & Man Utd All Linked
Barcelona pair Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto’o have both been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea the clubs they have been linked with.
With 30-year-old striker Henry reportedly a target for Manchester United if they fail to sign Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham, along with rumours that he could make a shock return to former club Arsenal, according to reports in the British tabloids.
While 27-year-old Cameroon International Eto’o (left) has been linked with a move to Tottenham or Chelsea. However, Spurs may only move for Eto’o if an agreement can’t be reached for Euro 2008 star Andrei Arshavin from Zenit St Petersburg, who remains White hart Lane boss Juande Ramos’ main transfer target.
Chelsea on the other hand could make a move for the prolific Eto’o if they fail to bring Robinho from Real Madrid to Stamford Bridge, with it believed that talks have stalled between the two parties, according to the BBC.
With the transfer window entering its final phase a lot of transfers are appearing to depend on the movement of other players, with the big clubs all sounding out possible alternative’s to their main targets.
