Arsenal Want To Bring Juventus Striker David Trezeguet To the Emirates To Stop Thierry Henry From Leaving For Barcelona
Arsenal are reportedly planning to bring France striker David Trezeguet at the Emirates Stadium.
Reports on Wednesday claimed that the Gunners want to pair Juventus’ Trezeguet with international team-mate Thierry Henry, who is a fierce target for Barcelona, - the duo were together at Monaco earlier in their career under Arsene Wenger.
The north London side are reportedly thinking in the direction that his friend Trezeguet’s arrival will help the 29-year-old cool down the rumours of his Barca link that surfaces at the end of the season.
29-year-old Trezeguet has rejected Juve’s offer of a new contract and is set to move on in search of a new challenge. He has been at Turin giants from 2000 and has since scored 140 goals.
Reports also suggested that the Gunners can have the former Monaco ace for £4m as he has just a year left on his current Bianconeri deal.
