Arsenal right-back Justin Hoyte has picked up a minor hamstring injury during their reserves’ 5-1 victory against Derby on Monday night.
The Gunners, who are already without injured Bacary Sagna, have had to field Kolo Toure in that position of late.
Reserve team manager Neil Banfield told Arsenal.com: “Justin felt his hamstring tighten up so we decided to take him off.
"The doctors have examined him and he feels it is more tightness than any real muscle strain. He will go home tonight and be reassessed on Tuesday morning."
