Arsenal’s Fabregas Will Be Fit In Time For Euros, Claims Wenger

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has claimed that his Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas could miss the last match of the season for the Gunners, but will be fit in time to be in action for his nation in the Euro 2008 finals this summer.

The 21-year-old playmaker missed last weekend's 1-0 win over Everton in the final game of the season at the Emirates Stadium.

Wenger said "Cesc wasn't in the side because he was injured.

”He came in yesterday morning, we made a scan and we couldn't take a chance to play him.

”On the scan it is a three-week injury. He'll be ready for Spain but not for us."

Fabregas will miss the final game of the 2007/08 season, away to Sunderland next Sunday, May 11.
