Arsenal, Portsmouth, West Ham United Premiership Transfer News
Arsenal, Portsmouth, West Ham United and an unnamed top European side, according to skysports.com, are all watching free agent, midfielder Stephen Appiah, who can be signed outside the transfer window.
The 27-year-old showed that he is recovered from his injury problem as he played for his country Ghana against Libya on Friday night, where he was apparently watched by the representatives of aforementioned clubs.
Appiah is currently without a club following his departure from Fenerbahce last month, despite continuing interest from Premiership sides, as his fitness proved to be a concern. However, it now seems that it is just a matter of time before he signs for a top side with the Gunners believed to be in pole position.
